Ein lokales Basisband-Netzwerk (LAN), das ursprünglich von Xerox entwickelt wurde und von Intel, Digital Equipment (jetzt Compaq Computer) und Hewlett-Packard unterstützt wird. Es hat eine Bustopologie mit Carrier Sense Multiple Access mit Collision Detection (CSMA/CD) Zugriffskontrolle.
